Do Work That Matters. In a Culture That Means It.
Be part of a team that values connection, accountability, and real impact.
Why Access?
Because how we work matters just as much as what we do. At Access, our Culture Playbook isn’t a poster on the wall - it’s how we show up for each other and for the people we support.
You’ll be part of a team that is:
Clear about expectations
Supportive and accountable
Focused on outcomes that matter to people
And committed to helping people live the healthiest and fullest lives possible—while making sure our staff can do the same.
As a CASAC in our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), you’ll help people move toward stability, health, and independence—on their terms. You’ll meet people where they are, respond with urgency, and stay with them as they build the lives they want.
This role is part of a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated mental health and substance use services through a harm-reduction, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach.
What You’ll Do
Connect quickly and meaningfully with people seeking support—because timely access matters
Complete intakes, assessments, and screenings to understand each person’s needs, strengths, and goals
Use tools like PHQ-9, GAD-7, AUDIT, DAST, and others to guide care
Develop clear, individualized treatment plans that reflect what matters to the person
Provide individual, group, and family counseling using evidence-based practices
Support access to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and coordinate across providers
Deliver SBIRT interventions and complete LOCADTR assessments
Respond to crises with calm, skill, and respect
Work closely with therapists, medical staff, and peer advocates to provide integrated care
Meet people in the community and travel between program locations as needed
Train and distribute Narcan to help prevent overdose and save lives
Keep documentation accurate, timely, and aligned with regulatory standards
What You’ll Bring
CASAC certification (required)
Peer certification (strongly preferred)
Experience supporting people with substance use and co-occurring mental health needs
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build authentic connections
A commitment to harm reduction, recovery, and person-centered care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team that holds itself accountable
Education & Experience
1+ year of experience in substance use services (3+ years preferred)
1+ year of experience in mental health services (3+ years preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (preferred)
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role includes both office-based and community-based work. You’ll need to:
Move throughout the day and access different program spaces
Work in shared and open environments
Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
Travel between locations as needed
Reasonable accommodations are available to support individuals in performing essential job functions.
