The Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) is an active member of Spurwink Mental Health Center's Interdisciplinary Treatment Team and works in a seamless manner across each of its' adult psychiatric services.
DUTIES:
- Engage program participants through direct contact and support.
- Coach participants towards developing satisfying, hopeful, and fulfilling lives as defined by the program participant.
- Maintain records, EHR, and documentation as required by Spurwink or State Agencies.
- Creates and maintains working relationships with community health providers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred. Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) certification required or must obtain within first year of employment.
