Leora Columbus, a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Center and a member of New Vista Health and Wellness, is currently seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist.
Certification Required: CAPRC-I or CAPRC-II (Certified Supervisor of Peer Recovery)
THE ROLE:
The Peer Support Specialist serves as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to recovering individuals in order to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. The Peer Support Specialist must demonstrate an ability to share personal recovery experiences and to develop authentic peer to-peer relationships.
This position includes transporting clients to and from treatments.
