The paid training you need to learn, grow, and succeed! Essential Functions: Assist residents in becoming more involved in their own recovery. Support and assist residents in developing and maintaining recovery-oriented, wellness-focused lifestyles. Serve as mentor and advocate for residents in the recovery home. Communicate with supervisor, treatment team, and collateral agencies to address client’s needs. Partner with residents to access the services and supports that will help individuals attain personal recovery goals. Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner. Position Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the human services or social services field preferred. Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) required. Certified Recovery Support Specialist certification required, or to be obtained within one year of date of hire. Annual TB test required. Experience using EHR (Electronic Health Record) required. Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing. Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software. Background check clearance required. Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency required. Access to reliable transportation required. Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage required.
