Are you a Certified Peer Recovery Supporter (CPRS) in search of new opportunity? The Crossroads Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Peer Recovery Supporter to assist our clients in their journey to recovery from substance use disorders. Our Certified Peer Recovery Supporters function as role models, mentors, advocates, and motivators, with the goal of fostering sustained recovery.

What We Require for this Role:
- Certified Peer Recovery Supporter (CPRS) Certification through the Ohio Dept. of Public Health is required.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license and insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Tuberculosis Skin Test and Influenza (Flu) vaccination within the past year;
- Ability to work a shift of 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (M-F).
- Ability to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 15 lbs.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Provide recovery education to individuals for every phase of the recovery journey, from pre-recovery engagement, recovery initiation, recovery stabilization, and sustained recovery maintenance.
- Assist clients in developing recovery plans that honor their voice and needs while providing them with the support and resources to aid them in achieving their goals.
- Assist clients in identifying barriers that impact recovery while developing strategies to overcome those barriers.
- Model behaviors and attitudes that reflect hope. Share personal recovery experiences that help cultivate genuine peer-to-peer relationships.
