About the California Coalition for Rural Housing (CCRH):
The California Coalition for Rural Housing advocates for a thriving rural California that grows affordable housing for rural, tribal, and farmworker families and communities.
The California Coalition for Rural Housing (CCRH) is a statewide nonprofit membership organization that strengthens the capacity, voice, and impact of those working to serve rural, Tribal, and farmworker communities. For 50 years, CCRH has advanced policy, provided technical assistance, developed emerging leaders, and convened cross-sector partners to ensure rural communities have equitable access to housing resources. CCRH works at the intersection of systems change and place-based capacity building to support durable, community-rooted housing solutions across California.
About the Leadership Development Program:
For over two decades, CCRH has hosted a renowned year-long internship program. Among the first of its kind, CCRH’s Internship is structured asa paid workforce development initiative that prepares students and emerging professionals for careers in affordable housing development. Interns are placed with nonprofit housing developers and community-based organizations across California, gaining hands-on experience in project planning, housing finance, construction oversight, and community-serving housing solutions.
About the Position:
The Leadership Development Programs Intern is an internal operations role that supports the day-to-day coordination and administration of CCRH’s Internship Program. This position is recruited independently from CCRH’s Housing Development Internship Program and is specifically designed for candidates interested in program administration and nonprofit operations.
