**Title:** Mental Health Counselor **Schedule:** - Week 1: Sunday and Friday 3 PM - 11 PM - Week 2: Wednesday and Saturday 3 PM - 11 PM **Assignment Details:** - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly **Requirements:** - Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field - Certification as a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) preferred **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Assist with admitting, discharging, and transferring processes while ensuring patient safety. - Handle case management duties, including one-on-one client contact and collaboration with service providers. - Contribute to assessments, individualized crisis prevention planning, discharge planning, and care coordination. - Provide peer-to-peer support and psycho-education about wellness and recovery. - Liaise with inpatient facilities and treatment teams for effective communication. - Participate in treatment team meetings and assist with care plan development. **Compliance / Notes:** - Coversheet required at the time of submission. - Must be in good standing with current employer if previously employed.
