This is a full-time position with an excellent fringe benefits package. Provides recovery support services to individuals participating in medication assisted treatment within the criminal justice system population, such as re-entry, jail systems, probation and parole. Assist in creating a recovery environment and acting as an advocate for the needs and rights of individuals. Act as lead staff in support groups, teaching/training recovery information and recovery tools, and post-discharge recovery check-ups. Provide recovery support services at other locations, as assigned by immediate supervisor. Model personal responsibility, self-advocacy, and hopefulness by assisting individuals in telling their recovery story, how needs are respectfully met, and how a belief in themselves is maintained. Model and practice recovery principles in all activities including hope, empowerment, responsibility, mutuality and self-determination. Transport or escort individuals to various activities to and from programming when assigned by supervisor.
