In this role, you'll be a vital part of our team, providing support, encouragement, and guidance to individuals in need. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building trusting relationships with clients through empathy and shared experiences.
- Offering peer-based support to promote recovery and personal growth.
- Assisting individuals in identifying and achieving their personal goals.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure clients receive comprehensive care.
- Advocating for clients while respecting their autonomy and choices.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- NC Peer Support Specialist Certification (required).
- A genuine desire to help others and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
No prior work experience is required—your lived experience and certification are what matter most!
