Position Summary:
The Recovery Coach at WE LEVEL UP is responsible for supporting individuals in their journey towards recovery from substance abuse and mental health challenges. The role involves guiding clients through personalized recovery plans, offering encouragement, and helping them develop skills and strategies to maintain long-term wellness.
 

HOURS:  1 PM - 9 PM   (TUES. - SAT. or SUN. - THUR.)

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one coaching sessions to clients, focusing on their individual recovery goals and progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive recovery plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Facilitate group sessions and workshops to promote peer support and shared learning among clients.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust recovery plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Educate clients and their families about recovery processes, coping mechanisms, and available resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress reports.
  • Advocate for clients within the healthcare system and connect them with necessary services and support networks.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and developments in recovery coaching and mental health to continuously improve service delivery.


Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
  • CPR Certification

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within mental health or substance abuse recovery settings.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing recovery plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Experience working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and support networks to facilitate recovery.


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of addiction recovery processes and mental health issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support and motivate clients.
  • Ability to assess client needs and develop personalized recovery strategies.
  • Proficiency in crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to mental health and substance abuse recovery.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in client interactions.
