Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is actively seeking, Supervisor of Peer Support Specialists to become an integral part of a growing continuum of behavioral health care services. This posting is for two new Programs, Crisis Stabilization (23 hour, 59 min stay) is a short term, high intensity program that accepts walk ins and first responder drop offs. Crisis Residential (7 day stay) is a voluntary and involuntary program for psychiatric stabilization. The Supervisor of Peer Support Specialist is responsible for the supervision, performance and development of the Peer Support Specialists (PSS). This position works as part of an integrated care team with the focus on providing quality therapeutic and culturally acceptable milieu support and skill-building educational activities.
All employees for this position within the Crisis Stabilization and Crisis Residential program will be expected to successfully complete Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills training upon hire.
